Two photos with a man. The first shows an elderly man with gray hair and a mustache, smiling and wearing a white coat, in front of a bookshelf. The second shows a man with short gray hair, standing outdoors with the Mount Rushmore sculpture and pine trees in the background.

Meet Mark

I am a third generation Oregonian, not a California transplant! My grandpa, Noble Fred Reaksecker was sheriff of Clackamas County in the 1940’s and 50’s.

My father was born in Oregon City, my mother was born in Portland. They had four children. We lived in a modest house in southeast Portland, until my fourth grade. We moved to Milwaukie and later attended Clackamas High School. I went to Portland State University, majoring in Chemistry and Biology.

Attending OHSU School of Dentistry, provided my DMD degree and a dental practice of 32 years; meeting and treating the wonderful people of Clackamas County. Retiring in 2020, allowed my wife, Lori, and I, to open a new chapter in life and get involved in politics.

An older man with white hair, glasses, and a beard is standing at a wooden podium holding a microphone, speaking in front of a red curtain.
